Raw Denim

The pink obsession continues. I saw this on the ASOS website and had to snap it up. It's definitely not winter appropriate but I'll definitely get loads of use from during the warmer seasons. On this occasion I paired it with a white chunky knit and my go to mom jeans and my Zara studded boots for a touch of smartness.

Who needs a Gucci belt?

Recently I've had my eyes on a Gucci belt, I was looking at it and all of a sudden I started seeing it styled by so many bloggers on my Instagram feed. It seems to elevate any outfit, but at this point in time I can't justify spending £220 on a belt, when my main priority is moving out. (It was £200, evidently the popularity of this style saw the price point go up).

So with that being said I've been looking for a belt. Something simple, but add just that little extra to an otherwise plain outfit. The addition of details from jewellery, bags, watches you name it really does make a difference.

I found this one on ASOS for £8, £7.50 with student discount. Bargain! Of course instead of having the Gucci logo it has an round edge rectangle, either way it does the job. Don't let social media or anyone for that matter make you feel bad about not being able to have certain things. You can get there eventually (if that's want you want). Fashion isn't about the price tag, it's more so about style and putting your own unique twist on things.

The Neutral Bomber

I've been a bit meh about bomber jackets lately. Everyone has them and ones that I really like are way out of my budget. With a bomber I feel that the details and tone matter the most. I saw this one in New Look and liked the shade of khaki/beige it is. It's unlike any colour I've seen in the bomber style before, it was 25% off so I thought why not?!

I dressed this look up from my usual go to trainers and wore some over the knee boots. These style of boots are essential to make your summer items work during the winter months. Although you can't tell in the photos they are very long and are perfect with culottes so you don't feel the chill all the way up your legs. If you're anything like me, that breeze will have you looking mad for the rest of the day!

The Statement Coat

Winter is coming, or in this instance it has arrived with no warning whatsoever. I've definitely been feeling the chill the last couple days and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that's been enjoying it. I am a winter baby and nothing satisfies my soul more than layering and getting all snuggly in my collection of coats.

I recently went to visit my Nan and she commented on my new H&M coat. Translating what she said from Creole to English, "Is that another coat? How many coats do you have?! It's really nice though." LOL. Every time I buy a new coat she seems to notice and now that I think about it, she has an assortment of coats herself. So I'm almost certain that my love for them stems from her.

I saw this coat browsing the H&M website and instantly thought of my Grandad. He had an array of flat cap's all with varying dogtooth patterns and it's nice to think both my grandparents influence my style choices subconsciously. Who influence's you style?

Autumnal Vibes

Hey hey, it's a minute since I blogged about my personal style. Again I've been struggling with consistency and having someone take photos for me. So here I am easing myself back into it with three photos :)

I haven't worn skinny jeans or anything clingy on my legs for what seems like forever. For the most, I think leaving my corporate job and not having to wear tights everyday is so freeing that I've been opting loose fitting bottoms. In the next post I'm going to try squeeze myself back into them and hope I don't hate it because I have so many pairs of them.

These wide leg trousers are so comfortable, apart from the little chill you get up your leg, I love how they add another dimension to this monochromatic look.

Fyodor Golan Behind The Scenes | SS17

Hi everyone! As LFW comes to end and we see the preparations for LFWND get underway I thought I would share my behind the scenes experience of Fyodor Golan. Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman established their brand in 2011 and whether you knew it or not you would have seen their designs at this years VMAs on the likes of none other than Ariana Grande.

So as you can imagine it was a nothing short of a big deal to see this collection up close, dress models and be fortunate enough to watch the presentation. The collection was a mixture of textures and designs, from embellished denim to neon mesh it all worked together effortlessly. I became obsessed with the model @neljilka, her look is so unique and without realising a lot of my photos and video footage features her. Stalker much? She's just so stunning, her hair, her face.. I digress. You can see more of her and some of the other models on my YouTube Channel, yes my Youtube Channel! It's been a long time coming and editing that video was so long because I have no idea what I'm doing, but I vlogged my day and filmed the whole presentation in case you wanted to have a little look see!

LFW Day 1 | Paul Costelloe SS17

I know I'm late with the fashion week posts, but I say better late than never right?! *nods head in hopes that you're nodding too*

I have been so incredibly lucky over the past couple days as I have been attending LFW shows and presentations (as if that isn't amazing on it's own merit) but I've also been fortunate enough to be a dresser for the models backstage.

I was really nervous I won't lie. Nonetheless, working with Paul Costelloe and his team made it all the more exciting as opposed to nerve-racking. They were so friendly and helpful and we also got a little good bag *yelps with joy*. Here are some photos from behind the scenes. The collection was very romantic and flowly, filled with muted colours alongside pops of colour as you'll see.

Please excuse the quality, I didn't have my camera and in all honestly I was so in the moment that it slipped my mind to take photos. Talk about blogging mistakes.

Enjoy.

Sequins & Sunshine

Hello readers, here's a simple (but bright) outfit for the hotter days we're having here in London. Culottes are your friend in the heat ladies. Light and airy, in other words ventilated.. Need I say more?
