Crox Box.

Good Morning everyone! (or afternoon) depending on when you’re reading this. I’ve been in a funk lately and there’s no better way to get of it than forcing yourself to get up and do something!

This weekend I did something different and went to Dover Street Market in Central London and it was amazing to see pieces and collections by so designers in one place. It definitely got my styling brain switched on again.

I was undeniably fooled by the sun (rookie Londoner mistake) and didn’t wear enough layers! I’ve been itching to wear these culottes and thought it would be warm to do, I was sorely mistaken. Despite that I like how this outfit turned out. Pairing white shirts underneath knitwear is such a classic way to layer so I would definitely invest in one or two. You can get so many styles nowadays you can’t go wrong.

Onto what I think is the main attraction, the bag. Essentially a faux croc box. This bag is reminiscent of Louis Vuitton's New collection inspired by Maison Trunks, something LV has been influenced very early on. I love how exotic and industrial it looks, adding another dimension to an outfit, from the hardware, print and structure I can see this slowly becoming one of my favourite bags! And at the fraction of the price, it’s a winner.

Classic In Cortez.

Friday is finally here and it feels so good! I can't tell you how many times I've woken up this week thinking it was Friday. Moving on, we've definitely had a hit of colder weather in London, so it was time to bring out the knitwear! I haven't been able to wear to able much of my chunkier clothes simply because it hasn't been cold enough but the time is now!

I think polo necks (otherwise known as turtle necks and/or roll necks depending on where you're from) are an essential in any wardrobe, they are so versatile and are great for layering. This particular jumper has side splits so you can easily add a layer underneath and have it peek through either side.

Lastly, a new addition to the kicks' family, Cortez. These are a classic design that have surpassed trends and the colourway is distinct but still wearable. They were famously worn by Tom Hanks in his role as Forrest Gump. It doesn't get more old school than that. So no matter what you're wearing or how modern your ensemble is, these will add a classic element to your overall look.

Make Your Military Mark.

Good Morning! Today is definitely feeling like the usual winter weather we get here in London. With that being said I wanted to invest a good black coat that only looks stylish but most importantly keeps me warm. I'm not one to wear barely nothing during the colder months for the sake of fashion (more power to you if do), I wear thermals, layers, you name it I've probably got it on underneath (sexy I know lol).

I am a sucker for the cold, I'm cold even when it's relatively warm (so people say). I saw this military style coat in Marks & Spencer, which in my opinion a lot women misconstrue for a brand that is aimed at the older demographic. This isn't true at all! Their clothes are well made and are of a good quality, all of things I own from this brand have lasted me years and years. So don't overlook this store when trying to find staple pieces, you'll be pleasantly surprised at what you can find.

Clean lines, simple details, with some structure (but not too much) this coat can see you through so many outfit choices. Military coats for me can be quite boxy and drowning because there is so much fabric but this one fits really well in the right places. Draped over your shoulders over a dress or worn casually like me, you're guaranteed to get a lot of wear out of it. I've worn it almost everyday since purchasing it!

Shearling.

Happy Sunday lovelies! It's a beautiful sunny day in London but it is freezing, so it was time to bring out the big guns of all the jackets I own.

You've probably seen this jacket countless times if you're an avid blog follower. I usually stray away from items that everyone seems to have but it's such a key statement item to own, I couldn't resist. I saw a beautiful one in Reiss but I can't afford a £795 jacket! So this was definitely a bargain at Zara costing £89.99.

Surprising it's really warm, which may seem obvious but I find the body of the jacket quite thin. I thought only the lapels would be the warm, toasty part.. how I was wrong. This is so cosy on these chiller days we've been getting.

I wanted to keep my outfit simple seen as the jacket is so in your face and pretty much steals the show. Paired with a jersey material mixed colour polo neck, mom jeans and nude heels, you can't go wrong.

Your Attitude Determines Your Direction.

Happy Monday! I'm sure everyone has the holiday blues, I know I do. To get back into the swing of things I thought I'd dress semi-smart because let's be honest the Monday madness took over and I was rushing around at 5:45am looking for something to throw on.

I've been feeling really stumped lately and came across the top in Zara and usually I'm not one for cheesy sayings or slogan tops but we all need a pick me up sometimes. "Your attitude determines your direction", I think it's a self explanatory statement and has definitely motivated me to make some changes in my life.

So here's to a new attitude, who knew that fashion could spark some motivation!
