Snakeskin.

Simple, relaxed and warm for the ever changing weather.

I wanted to incorporate pattern into this outfit but keep everything neutral colour wise. Snakeskin boots seem to be everywhere at the moment and they undoubtedly add a pop of texture and print. I may or may not regret these boots and look back at this very post and wonder what on earth I was thinking. But hey, change is good (and they were on sale).

Tailored To A Tee.

Happy Friday everyone! Today marks the first day of London Fashion Week and suits are an ever lasting trend that gets better with time. Tailoring and finding the right cut that suits your body and embodies comfort simultaneously definitely takes time (at least it did for me).

I love pairing suit trousers with heels, it's perfect to elongate my legs. At the same time it's so easy to chop and change between slick cuts and add different items that add a more relaxed feel. Trainers are perfect way to do just that. Tailored pieces pretty much do all the work for you, from the clean lines to minimal stripes (in this instance), adding trainers won't comprise the sartorial elegance to your look.

Biker Chic.

The weather has suddenly dropped in temperature (again) but I wasn't going to let that defeat me. As the years have passed, my sense of style has changed immensely. I tend to go for comfort and warmth in the colder months but this year I thought I'd experiment with layering rather than grabbing my usual jumpers.

I undoubtedly get cold even with the slightest breeze in Summer, so finding the balance between not wanting to look frumpy but keeping warm simultaneously can be challenging (especially challenging for the person hearing me moan that I'm cold all day long). Nonetheless looking frumpy isn't an option nor is it chic.

Biker jackets and ripped jeans are a classic pairing, the otp of fashion if you will.  Layering with polo necks and shirts is an easy way to keep yourself toasty as well add different dimensions to your look. And of course I have to mention the not so attractive thermals on underneath. I live in thermals and the best part is you can't even tell I'm wearing them!

Chilled.

Yet another addition of suede. Burgundy + suede = pick up and go to till! I've had this jacket for a few months now and I have to say Stradivarius is slowly becoming one of my favourite stores to visit. It has hidden little gems that can easily become staple pieces without breaking the bank.

There's not much to say about this outfit, although I have to mention the Superstar's. I've had Superstar's since I was about 13 years old, I am proud to say I still have them (not so proud to say I now use them as garden shoes *inserts monkey face emoji covering face*) so I think it's safe to say an upgrade is well overdue.

Superstar's have gotten increasingly popular over the years which is why I refrained from buying them. I saw this design on @titoloshop (which is a feed that will undeniably enable any trainer fiend's addiction, it clearly enabled mine) and thought they were a unique twist to the classic. And just like that I clicked add to basket..
